Who We Are

CoCo Love Doulas is a Black-led maternal and family wellness organization providing culturally rooted support for individuals and families throughout California during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and early parenthood. Our team includes mothers, doulas, advocates, community builders, and birth workers who are committed to improving maternal and infant health outcomes through compassionate, relationship-centered care.

We recognize that every family’s journey is unique. Our services are designed to meet families where they are by providing education, advocacy, emotional support, practical resources, and trusted guidance throughout the perinatal journey. While our work is centered on supporting Black and Brown families, we welcome all families seeking culturally responsive care and meaningful community connections.

Families engage with CoCo Love through direct doula services, our pillars of care, and connections to CoCo Love Collective initiatives that extend support beyond childbirth. Together, these services help families access information, strengthen community connections, and receive ongoing support as their needs evolve.

Core Values & Framework

CoCo Love is grounded in a Wealth and Wellness Framework, recognizing that healthy pregnancies, positive birth experiences, and strong families are shaped by more than clinical care alone. We believe maternal and family wellness is strengthened through emotional well-being, family stability, trusted relationships, community support, access to resources, education, and culturally responsive care.

Our work is guided by core values that promote dignity, compassion, advocacy, cultural humility, collaboration, and community connection. These values shape every interaction with the families we serve and every pillar of care we provide, helping build stronger pathways to healing, resilience, and long-term family well-being.
