Healing Deserves Time.

Pillar Overview

The REST Ministry initiative is CoCo Love Collective’s postpartum emotional wellness pillar that supports mothers during the first year after childbirth throughout California. Many mothers seek additional support after birth as they adjust to recovery, changing family responsibilities, emotional challenges, or the transition into parenthood. This pillar provides a community-based space where participants can access wellness education, guided discussions, practical resources, and referrals that complement their postpartum care.

Who It Serves

This pillar is tailored to support:

  • Mothers within the first year after childbirth.
  • Black and Brown mothers.
  • Mothers adjusting to postpartum life.
  • Mothers experiencing stress, isolation, grief, or emotional changes.
  • Mothers seeking emotional wellness support and community.
  • Families looking for postpartum resources and connections.

Pillar Components

Participants may receive:

  • Restoration circles.
  • Postpartum emotional wellness education.
  • Guided journaling and reflection.
  • Peer support and shared discussions.
  • Resource navigation.
  • Mental health referrals, when appropriate.
  • Spiritual encouragement, when requested.
  • Connections to community or clinical partners.

What to Expect

Participants may engage with REST Ministry at any point during the first year after childbirth. Sessions combine guided discussions, educational topics, and peer connection while recognizing that every mother’s postpartum experience is different. As needs evolve, participants may also be connected with additional Community Pillars, community resources, or professional services for continued support.

Pillar Outcomes

The REST Ministry pillar helps participants strengthen emotional wellness, reduce feelings of isolation, increase awareness of available postpartum resources, and build supportive community connections. By complementing routine postpartum healthcare with education, peer engagement, and resource referrals, this pillar provides ongoing support during the transition into motherhood.
