Pillar Overview
The Transitional Postpartum Care Fund is CoCo Love Collective’s short-term postpartum assistance pillar for mothers and families throughout California during the first year after childbirth. Some mothers seek additional support after delivery because they did not receive doula services, are experiencing unexpected challenges during recovery, or need help accessing community resources while adjusting to life with a newborn. This pillar helps eligible participants connect with postpartum support, practical resources, and, when available, short-term financial assistance to encourage family stability during the transition after birth.

- Postpartum mothers.
- Mothers within the first year after childbirth.

What to Expect
Families can inquire about this pillar during the first year after childbirth to determine eligibility based on available funding and eligibility guidelines. Once eligibility is confirmed, participants may receive short-term assistance and referrals that address immediate postpartum needs while connecting them with longer-term community resources. Support is designed to complement, rather than replace, ongoing medical or social services.
Pillar Outcomes
The Transitional Postpartum Care Fund helps eligible mothers access timely postpartum support, connect with community resources, reduce barriers to essential services, and strengthen family stability during the first year after childbirth.
